Qualifications

High School diploma. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as a team player with students and staff. Ability to work with and motivate students. Familiarity with district student right and responsibilities. Knowledge of child development. Prior experience with behavior management in a school setting. An ability to hold high expectations while maintaining a student centered approach. A commitment to equitable educational outcomes for all students. Values a team-based, problem-solving, solution-oriented, skills-building process. A high degree of patience and flexibility. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed staff with crisis intervention as directed. Background or experience in working with students on conflict resolution. Ability to relate well to students, staff and parents. Monitor/manage students needing behavior support. Confidentiality and respectful rapport with parents and staff Record keeping of student behaviors. Be fair and consistent in following district discipline policy and student behavior plans. Other duties as assigned by principal.

Compensation / Benefits

RAVE Clerical Association Wage Group V: $22.01 - $24.69 Hourly - According to contractual agreement (based on 2026-27 contract) If benefit eligible, benefits are available to new employees effective the first day of active employment.
