Technical Sales & Specification Manager (11618)

Who They Are
Our client is one of the largest building materials manufacturers in the world and they are looking for a commercial roofing candidate in Southern California that has fluid applied experience to help them grow a rapidly expanding product category that is very profitable for them. The primary focus is going to be a mix of roofing contractors and consultants, architects and project owners in the area. They are open to relocating the right candidate for this role.

What You'll Do

• Develop and influence specifications with architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Identify and grow opportunities in roofing, plaza decks, and restoration markets.
• Support sales reps with project acquisition, pricing, technical guidance, and closure.
• Deliver AIA-accredited and technical presentations.
• Train internal sales teams and distribution partners on LAM systems and value-based selling.
• Build strong relationships with contractors and conduct hands-on installation training.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Windows Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Technical understanding of roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems
• Ability to read plans/specs and recommend system solutions
• Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills
• Comfort working on jobsites and solving real-world installation challenges
• Collaborative mindset
