Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) Pittsburg, CA, United States | Req28935 Responsibilities Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10‑12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up. Complete hazardous material shipping order paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections. Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance. Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs. Continuously build knowledge of Linde’s business operations to support organizational growth, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED and proficiency in reading and writing in English. Minimum 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school, plus a valid Class A CDL. Must be 21 years of age or older. Current hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire. No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years. No alcohol‑related convictions within the last 10 years. Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate. Capability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
