Assistant Teacher

Description An assistant teacher provides care for children 6 weeks through 4 years of age under the supervision of the Teacher in the classroom. The assistant teacher will help introduce and educate new and basic concepts to children by reading to, talking to, playing with, and nurturing them. The assistant teacher must be able to communicate well with the parents, which will include keeping daily records on the child. Requirements Apply for WV STARS Career Pathway Complete 15 hours of approved training each year Child abuse and neglect training First Aid and CPR training Meet all licensing requirements for a Type III Center in WV #J-18808-Ljbffr Community Resources Inc.
