Senior Electrical Estimator

Overview NR Consultingis currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Estimator for an opportunity in Brentwood, CA – Onsite! Anticipated Start Date: 05/25/2026. Salary Range: $100K - $140K/Annum plus benefits Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing team within a well-established construction services environment. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting project planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate, timely project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and other documentation Analyze blueprints and technical documents to determine labor, material, and time requirements Develop budget pricing from schematic designs and conceptual information Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives Prepare scopes of work and proposal documentation for bids and negotiated projects Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client-facing discussions as needed Collaborate with project teams on change orders and cost-to-complete estimates Support continuous improvement of estimating tools, systems, and processes Assist in mentoring junior team members and supporting departmental initiatives Maintain accuracy and composure while working under tight deadlines Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial and/or industrial projects Experience with design-build projects preferred Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and calculations (e.g., voltage drop, conduit fill, ampacity, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, EBM, or similar) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities About NR Consulting Founded in 2005, NR Consulting is a leading global provider of workforce solutions, technology services, and recruitment strategy , trusted by Fortune 500 and mid-sized organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
