Job Description

This role involves part masking of aircraft engine parts and peening and smoothing these parts to ensure quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Mask aircraft engine parts for further processing.
• Perform peening and smoothing of aircraft engine parts.
• Operate carousel machines and perform part blasting as required.
• Handle general production tasks including CNC machine operation.

• At least 6 months to a year of machine operating experience.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to take initiative and a desire to learn.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.

• Experience with blasting, air processors, or water jets is advantageous but not required.
• Candidates must be reliable, trustworthy, and responsible due to minimal supervision on 2nd shift.

Work Environment

The position operates in a clean shop environment with newly acquired machines. The role is on the 2nd shift, from 3:30pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm for up to three months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Windsor, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
