About the Role

K&R Strategic Partners (KRSP), a growing tax, accounting, and advisory firm, is looking for a warm,

organized, relationship-driven professional to be the first real conversation a prospective client has with

our firm, and to actively help grow our client base. You'll be talking with people who've already reached

out, listening to their situation, explaining how we can help, and making sure nothing falls through the

cracks between “yes, let's talk” and “welcome aboard.” You'll also play a role in generating new

business opportunities beyond the inbound leads that come to you.

No accounting or tax background required. We'll teach you what you need to know about our services.

What we can't teach is being genuinely good with people on the phone and relentless about following

through.

What You'll Do

• Conduct Discovery Calls with inbound prospective clients (30-60 minutes each) — understand their

situation, explain our services, and walk them through next steps

• Present and sell our paid $1,500 consultation as part of the discovery call conversation

• Set a clear, specific next step before every call ends — no one should leave a call unsure of what

happens next

• Follow up personally after each call: a thoughtful recap email, sending the invoice, and keeping our

systems up to date

• Stay on top of every lead until they're fully onboarded — if someone goes quiet, you're the one who

picks up the phone and reconnects, not an automated email

• Check in with new clients about 90 days after they join, to see how things are going and hear if they

know anyone else who might benefit from our services

Business Development

Beyond the inbound calls you'll handle, this role also includes proactively seeking out new client

opportunities through methods such as:

• Cold outreach to potential clients

• Attending industry events and networking functions

• Building relationships with referral partners (attorneys, wealth managers, and other centers of

influence)

• Building long-term relationships that generate future business over time

What We're Looking For

• Someone comfortable and confident on the phone — this is the heart of the role

• Excellent follow-through and organization; you don't let things slip

• Comfortable initiating conversations and pursuing new opportunities, not just handling inbound calls

• 3-4 years of sales, client-facing, or relationship-management experience required — especially in

wealth management, insurance, financial services, or similar consultative fields

• Industry experience in accounting, tax, or finance is strongly preferred

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, with heavier weeks during tax season (January-March)

Target Pay: $90,000–$120,000 — base salary plus commission
