Travel OR RN Circulator

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (5x8 hour shifts), with call required.

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care within the operating room environment. As an integral member of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other personnel to ensure effective patient care. Responsibilities include ensuring the availability of supplies, managing case timelines, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, assisting physicians during surgeries, and supervising personnel involved in patient care.

• Ensure the availability and timeliness of surgical supplies and equipment
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and families
• Assist with the preparation and management of surgical cases
• Supervise and mentor operating room staff
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room settings
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with various surgical specialties including general, ortho, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, trauma, and DaVinci robotics
• Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients
