Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions, in partnership with physicians or autonomously, depending on your qualifications
• Educating patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and management of health conditions
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and smooth patient care
• Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or another specialty equivalent
• Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire them within 90 days)
