Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

Soliant Health is currently recruiting Pharmacy Technicians on behalf of a retail/mail order pharmacy located in the Clearwater, FL area. This opportunity is open to non-hospital techs, so experience within retail, specialty, mail-order, long-term care, and closed door are welcome!

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13+ weeks

Shifts: Mon-Fri; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Requirements:

- Florida Pharmacy Technician License: Must be active and in hand at time of submission firm requirement

- Must have at least 2+ years of recent pharmacy technician experience. (Retail, closed door, mail order, or long-term care is acceptable. No hospital)

- High School diploma or GED required

- PTCB preferred, but not required

- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

- Process prescriptions, handle insurance adjudications, and resolve rejections

- Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verifications

- Perform data entry, manage prescription paperwork, and communicate with patients and prescribers

- Maintain accurate inventory through daily cycle counts, restocking, and expirations reviews

- Assist with returns, medication quarantines, and destruction processes

- Cross-train in various pharmacy functions and support department needs as required

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations
