Job Description ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL is required Do you like to tackle complex software challenges? In this role, you will support immediate sustainment and software development efforts for a vital Reporting Tool Suite. Your focus will be on maintaining and enhancing the WEBCANDID tool, which tracks, administers, and archives requests for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and global partners. Working closely with the team, you will ensure the existing code base runs flawlessly while troubleshooting interfaces across multiple applications. Location & Work Environment Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Work Style: On-site (no telework available) Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 (USD) base annual salary. Actual compensation offered may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. Required Skills Level: Junior level preferred. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of professional software development experience working on programs of similar scope and complexity. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Substitution: Four (4) years of additional relevant software experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree (totaling 6 years of experience). Desired Skills Backend Development: Professional experience developing with Java 17+ and the Spring Boot framework. Frontend Frameworks: Familiarity or experience building user interfaces with Angular and Google Web Toolkit (GWT). Database Management: Operational familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases, specifically Oracle and MongoDB. API Architecture: Experience building, maintaining, or consuming RESTful web services.
