SIGN-ON BONUS: Up to $10,000

SHIFT: Mid/Swing Shift (7 AM - 7 PM, 9 AM - 9 PM) *Flexibility required between Brentwood and McCandless*

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

FACILITY TYPE: 18-bed Small-Format Hospital (8 ER, 10 Inpatient)

Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to conduct a range of imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-Rays, at a technical level that does not necessitate constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and other staff in addressing the needs of patients throughout the facility.
• Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment, including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Conduct imaging exams in compliance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, ensuring that the physician on duty is informed of the results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under the supervision of the physician and/or nurse on duty.
• Maintain all necessary documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and conduct lab testing in accordance with established policies and regulations, including COLA and CLIA.
• Ensure an adequate supply of reagents and consumables for quality testing.
• Carry out routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment following established protocols.
• Perform Quality Control as mandated by the laboratory.
• Conduct Proficiency Testing and/or Split Sample analysis as required by the facility.
• Retain records of all analytical activities for a minimum of two years.
• Document all Quality Assessment activities assigned to this position for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Laboratory Director.

Additional Responsibilities

• Serve as an ER Technician as needed.
• Travel to various facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings or other company-sponsored meetings as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program is required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology is preferred.
• Certification as a medical radiologic technologist as mandated by the state of practice is required.
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography is required.
• ARRT registration in computed tomography is preferred, with the following exceptions:
• CT certification is required for the Las Vegas Market.
• CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire for the Pennsylvania market.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• 2+ years of experience in radiologic/imaging is preferred.
• 1+ years of CT experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with various X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software, and PACS is necessary.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
