POSITION SUMMARY:

The Community Marketing Manager will build meaningful relationships between brands under the Kahala portfolio and their online communities. Additional responsibilities will include managing influencer initiatives to support brand product launches, partnerships and more. This role will manage day-to-day community engagement, support social listening and reputation efforts, and serve as the central point of coordination for influencer campaigns from identification and outreach through execution, reporting, and relationship management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, culturally aware, responsive, and able to balance distinct brand voices while identifying opportunities to increase engagement, advocacy, and brand relevance. This is a full-time, administrative level role, and is not visa eligible.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages day-to-day community engagement across assigned brand social channels, including responding to comments, questions, tags, mentions, and direct messages in each brand’s established voice.
• Monitors social conversations, trends, cultural moments, and guest sentiment to identify opportunities for proactive engagement, content development, and issue escalation.
• Coordinates influencer initiatives across multiple brands, serving as the primary liaison between internal brand teams, agency partners, influencers, and creators.
• Identifies, evaluates, and recommends influencers and creators based on brand fit, audience quality, geography, content style, engagement, and campaign objectives.
• Manages influencer campaign workflows, including outreach, briefing, timelines, product or visit coordination, content reviews, usage rights, approvals, posting requirements, and deliverables.
• Maintains influencer and creator databases, campaign calendars, budgets, contracts, and performance records to support consistent execution and long-term relationship development.
• Tracks and analyzes community and influencer performance, translating engagement, reach, sentiment, content, and conversion results into clear recaps and actionable recommendations.
• Partners with Social Media, Brand Marketing, Public Relations, Legal, Operations, and agency teams to ensure community responses and influencer content align with brand standards, campaign priorities, disclosure requirements, and business objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience in community management, social media, influencer marketing, public relations, or digital marketing.
• Demonstrates clear and effective professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across multiple brand voices.
• Hands-on experience managing social communities and responding to guests or customers on major social platforms.
• Strong project management, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain professionalism, and identify when sensitive or high-risk conversations should be escalated.
• Experience coordinating influencer or creator campaigns, including outreach, briefs, approvals, deliverables, and performance reporting.
• Working knowledge of social media analytics, social listening, influencer discovery, and campaign management tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Proactive, curious, and creative approach to community building and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of social media culture, emerging platforms, creator trends, and evolving community expectations.
• Precision in grammar, spelling, syntax, and brand voice.
• Knowledge of influencer marketing best practices, including FTC disclosure requirements, content usage rights, and brand safety considerations.
• Prior experience supporting multiple consumer brands, franchise systems, restaurant brands, or retail locations.
• Experience with paid creator amplification, affiliate programs, product seeding, or local influencer activations.
• Ability to analyze campaign and community data and translate results into key learnings and recommendations.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, alternating between standing and sitting; working at a desk/looking at a computer screen; driving, and speaking. Cognitive requirements include but are not limited to executing tasks independently, learning and memorizing tasks, and having the ability to maintain focus or concentration.
