Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology and research location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security‑related incidents. Position Type: Part Time CLEET assistance is available Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a research and technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, research areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to verify credentials and/or permissions, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, or policy violations according to site protocols. Support after-hours coverage by observing building conditions, noting maintenance or life‑support system concerns, and reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or operational issues through established channels. Minimum Requirements: An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
