Bilingual Family Practice NP
Light of the World Clinic, Inc.
Position Summary: Light of the World Clinic, a nonprofit free medical clinic serving low-income, uninsured residents of Broward County, is seeking a compassionate Bilingual (English/Spanish) Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. The NP will provide direct primary care services, manage chronic diseases, and support preventive care for patients who otherwise lack access to healthcare. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans. Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate. Collaborate with volunteer physicians, medical assistants, and case managers. Document care in the clinic’s electronic health record (AthenaNet). Promote patient education and preventive health practices. Qualifications Current Florida Nurse Practitioner license and Board Certification in Family Practice. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
