Role Overview The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment programs to promote patient health and recovery. They provide direct therapy services across various settings, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure proper documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Key Responsibilities Assess patients through records, interviews, and observations. Create and review personalized treatment plans, instruct patients and families on home exercises. Deliver therapy services tailored to patient capabilities, adjusting strategies as needed. Document evaluations, treatment progress, and other reports accurately. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Supervise physical therapy assistants, technicians, and students to ensure safe, effective care. Maintain knowledge of equipment use and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills Active license as a Physical Therapist in the practice state. Strong communication, observational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Commitment to professional development and adherence to safety protocols.
