This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility, develop litigation skills, and work on a diverse caseload involving injured clients.Position OverviewThe attorney will assist with and independently handle personal injury matters from initial case evaluation through settlement and, as experience develops, trial. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sound legal judgment, and a genuine commitment to advocating for injured individuals.ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through resolutionInvestigate and evaluate liability, damages, causation, and insurance coverageCommunicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other partiesConduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement demands, and other legal documentsHandle discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiationsAnalyze medical records, accident reports, insurance policies, and other case materialsDevelop case strategies and work toward favorable settlements and outcomesCollaborate with partners, senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staffMaintain organized case files and meet applicable deadlinesQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in TX2+ year of personal injury experience preferredStrong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skillsLitigation experience is preferredAbility to manage multiple matters and prioritize competing deadlinesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCompassionate, professional, and client-focused approachOpportunityThis position offers an opportunity to join a collaborative legal team and gain substantial hands-on experience in personal injury litigation.
