Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit supporting open heart surgery, transplant, and AAA cases
• Manage and monitor patients requiring CRRT and ECMO
• Deliver strong critical care nursing within a busy, large-scale Level 1 Trauma environment
• Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including every-other-weekend availability
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care demands

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Texas
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Strong critical care background in a major academic or high-volume medical center
• Willingness and ability to float to other units
• Flexibility with scheduling; no self-scheduling accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of CVICU or critical care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• CRRT experience
• Recent ECMO experience
