RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, develop, and implement technical product training programs for customers, employees, and field support personnel. Obtain information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software, and product requirements to prepare training programs. Prepare lesson plans and training materials; design product demonstrations; develop course content; determine methodology; and coordinate the development of training aids. Conduct training sessions, product demonstrations, and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Utilize trainers with technical expertise and administer tests as needed. Continuously revise lesson plans to ensure course material reflects product features, meets new training requirements, and keeps technical information up to date. May include military trainers as part of the training delivery. QUALIFICATIONS Technical proficiency in manufacturing process procedures being taught (e.g., certifications, relevant coursework, or hands‑on experience). Instructional skills to design and deliver clear, engaging training sessions, including knowledge of adult‑learning principles and effective presentation techniques. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in simple terms and responding to learner questions. Minimum of 1–2 years of hands‑on experience providing a practical perspective to training. DESIRED SKILLS Current certification as an IPC‑610 and/or J‑STD instructor or the ability to become one within a year of hire. Process instructor in one or more certifications and the willingness to obtain more. PAY RATE The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $47,000 - $82,915. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. The salary information is a general guideline only.
