We launched an exciting new alternative investment strategy and are seeking an exceptional Quantitative Researcher to join our growing research team. This is a high-impact role for individuals who thrive at the intersection of deep statistical modeling, machine learning, and real-world financial decision-making. With this new strategy you will help shape our investment process in areas ranging from public markets to private credit, venture, and revenue-based financing - leveraging unique data advantages that few others possess.

• Develop, test, and deploy sophisticated quantitative strategies and predictive models across equities, credit, macro, and alternative assets.
• Conduct original research on novel datasets, including alternative data, transaction-level flows, private company metrics, and emerging AI-driven signals.
• Build production-grade tools and pipelines that directly influence multi-million (and larger) investment decisions.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, data engineers, and technologists to translate research into scalable alpha-generating processes.
• Stay at the forefront of quantitative finance by experimenting with the latest techniques in machine learning, causal inference, NLP, computer vision, and optimization.
• Contribute to a culture of intellectual honesty, rapid iteration, and continuous improvement - no bureaucracy, just results.
  

You are a strong quant with a proven track record of impactful research. Ideal candidates will have 2 - 8+ years of experience in quantitative roles at leading organizations such as:

• Capchase, Pipe, Arc Technologies, Founderpath, Clearco, Ramp, Brex, Mercury, Stripe, Plaid or similar fintech innovators;
• General Catalyst, Insight Partners, ICONIQ Capital, Coatue, Altimeter Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures or other top venture/growth equity firms;
• Palantir, Databricks, Scale AI, OpenAI, Anthropic or frontier AI labs;
• Two Sigma, Point72, D. E. Shaw, Citadel, Millennium, Balyasny or other elite quantitative hedge funds.

Key Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related).
• Expert-level proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc.) and experience productionizing models.
• Strong background in statistical modeling, time-series analysis, machine learning, or optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large, messy, or unconventional datasets and turn them into investment signals.
• Intellectual curiosity, ownership mindset, and comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in finance is valuable but not required - we value exceptional researchers from tech and AI who are excited to apply their skills to markets.
