Key Responsibilities
- Laboratory Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Result Analysis: Analyze test results precisely and provide timely reports to healthcare providers to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Equipment Operation: Maintain and operate lab equipment, performing calibration and troubleshooting as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Assurance: Follow stringent quality control procedures and adhere to regulatory standards to uphold laboratory accuracy and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and healthcare team members to provide seamless patient care through dependable lab results.
Qualifications
- Certification: ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
- Education: Associate's degree for MLT or Bachelor's degree for MT from an accredited program.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
