SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Role Overview Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and accounting operations for a respected client. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can work independently, analyze financial data, and contribute to process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial results and prepare variance reports for management
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and communicate effectively
