Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support vehicles* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operations* Conduct inspections and maintain accurate service records to support compliance and reliability* Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and execute timely repairs* Collaborate with plant operations to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy mobile equipment systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)* Strong commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members* Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting systems**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $31.34 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential* $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
