Onboarding & Training Manager

MobileUp is looking for an Onboarding & Training Manager who thrives on helping clients succeed. In this role, you'll guide new customers through every step of their journey—from sales handoff to confident, independent use of our Mobile SaaS platform, built specifically for membership-based associations managing events and member engagement.

You'll be the primary point of contact during onboarding, owning implementation timelines, providing training, and building the kind of early client relationships that drive long-term retention. If you're organized, an excellent communicator, and genuinely enjoy teaching people how to get the most out of software, this role is a great fit.

No prior experience at a SaaS company required. 

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive transition from prospect to client
• Manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously, maintaining clear timelines, milestones, and accountability
• Support clients through platform implementation, configuration, and best-practice setup
• Deliver live and virtual training sessions on platform features and functionality
• Develop deep product knowledge and translate it into practical guidance for clients at varying technical comfort levels
• Serve as a trusted advisor during clients' critical early lifecycle with the platform
• Track onboarding progress and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and clients
• Identify and address risks and friction points before they become client issues during onboarding
• Collaborate with the Sales, Support, Account Management, and Product teams to improve the overall client experience
• Relay client feedback to inform product improvements, documentation, and training materials
• Assist with training webinars and other training related activities as needed

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client projects at once
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable learning, using, and explaining software and technology
• Client-first mindset with a genuine desire to see customers succeed
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams
• Prior experience in client onboarding, training, or project management is a plus
