The platform includes revenue cycle management, accounting and finance, human resources, EHR support, payer contracting, compliance, supply‑chain logistics, and data intelligence. This position is for emergency physicians who wish to own and operate their own practice while receiving structured operational support from MedCBO. The physician retains full clinical authority and is not employed by MedCBO. Physician Responsibilities Provide emergency care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO’s assistance. Determine clinical services offered by the practice. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligibility for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
