Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary Assigning staff according to policies to ensure equitable distribution of duties, supporting teamwork, and encouraging proper resident care within acceptable timeframes. Conducting rounds to assess residents and reporting concerns promptly. Receiving and completing shift reports for the Director of Nursing, and communicating any issues requiring administrative attention. Managing and disciplining staff appropriately while promoting responsibility, accountability, and autonomy to enhance resident outcomes. Developing measurable staff goals and maintaining professionalism within the team. Serving as a resource for nursing personnel, directing and managing direct patient care using sound nursing judgment. Reviewing and revising care plans based on assessments, identifying appropriate interventions, and ensuring resident/family education. Assessing physical, spiritual, psychological, and emotional needs of residents, coordinating with Charge Nurses, and intervening as needed. Maintaining knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols. Completing monthly QAPI, monitoring pharmacy recommendations, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current LPN license in the applicable state Two years of long-term care supervisory experience preferred Three to five years of long-term care or similar nursing experience Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, visitors, and staff Strong organizational and time management abilities Physical capacity to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull heavy objects and residents using proper techniques Manual dexterity and coordination for working with residents and equipment Proficiency in documentation and visual acuity Ability to manage diverse activities effectively Pay range: $59,810 - $94,539 annually #J-18808-Ljbffr
