Physician - Advanced Heart Failure

Job Title Advanced Heart Failure Physician (rank available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) Location Practice primarily in Morgantown, WV. Depending on operational needs, the candidate may also provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Travel to those locations is anticipated and expected. Duties Practice in the areas of cardiology and advanced heart failure including cardiogenic shock, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. Provide excellent patient care. Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a state medical license. Completion of an internal medicine residency program, a cardiovascular disease program, and an advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology fellowship program. Board certified or eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
