Patent Technical Specialist or Patent Agent - ME/EE/BME

Medler Ferro Woodhouse & Mills, an Intellectual Property boutique law firm, is actively seeking a Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Technical Specialist or Patent Agent. All candidates preferably have a BS degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.No prior experience in a law firm is necessary, but current technical specialists or Patent Agents are encouraged to apply. The position will work with partners and senior associates of the firm, specifically with regard to domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, researching and drafting legal opinions for clients, and assisting with patent office litigation matters. The Firm offers a 1500 billable hour/year requirement. Salary range starting at $90,000+, depending on educational background and experience.
