Saint Helena Parish is seeking an outstanding Office Assistant to join our Parish Office team. This position offers the opportunity to use your administrative talents in a faith-filled environment where hospitality, teamwork, and excellence are valued. As one of the first people parishioners and visitors encounter, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the many ministries and services of our parish community.

What You'll Do

• Welcome parishioners, visitors, and guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer phones and assist with a variety of parish office inquiries.
• Provide administrative support for parish programs, ministries, and sacramental preparation.
• Maintain parish records and learn our parish management database.
• Prepare correspondence, documents, and reports using Microsoft Office.
• Assist with office projects and daily operations in a collaborative team environment.

We are looking for Someone Who Has

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications).
• The ability to learn new software and work confidently with a parish database.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A positive, welcoming attitude and a genuine desire to serve others.
• An appreciation for and willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Church.

Position: Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday–Friday • 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
