Position Overview: We are seeking a professional, outgoing, and reliable Sales Associate & Customer Support Specialist to join our team at our Norwalk, CT retail location. This dual-role position combines in-store sales with comprehensive customer support for both our retail store and e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional in-person, full-service sales on our retail sales floor
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting premium footwear from our extensive collection
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email through our support desk
- Resolve complex customer situations involving backorders and custom-made products (particularly Alden brand)
- Navigate multiple computer applications efficiently to address customer needs
- Maintain detailed records and follow up on customer orders
Required Qualifications:
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Outgoing, personable personality with excellent communication skills
- Proven reliability and strong work ethic
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills and comfort with multi-application workflows
- Articulate and well-spoken for interactions with luxury clientele
- Ability to handle high-value transactions ($1000+ footwear purchases)
