Overview Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Belmont, California. Position Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 05/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assist patients in outpatient settings to recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions. Work within a clinic to evaluate, diagnose, and implement treatment plans, set functional goals, and document in accordance with payer and regulatory guidelines. Maintain safe patient handling and materials handling procedures. Supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students when assigned. Participate in student programs as applicable. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or Red Cross may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client specifies no new graduates; minimum prior clinical experience preferred. Experience with evaluation, development of treatment plans, functional goal-setting, and documentation compliant with payer and regulatory guidelines. Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and materials handling procedures. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students, and participate in student programs when assigned. Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education per California practice act. Preferred: experience with outpatient documentation systems, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
