Registered Nurse (RN) - Postpartum / Mother-Baby Care

Job Description

We are seeking a registered nurse specializing in postpartum and mother-baby care to provide exceptional clinical care to high-risk obstetric patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment while making a significant impact on the lives of new mothers and their infants.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered care to postpartum and mother-baby patients.
Administer magnesium sulfate and manage related postpartum care.
Assist in the recovery phase of labor and delivery (L&D).
Support neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) initiatives, assisting with feeding, soothing, and changing infants as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Float between units as required, maintaining competencies in relevant areas.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant nursing specialty.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required.
Willingness to be on-call as needed.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Work Schedule

This position involves night shifts, working 3 days per week, with shifts scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Utilizes Epic for electronic health record (EHR) charting.
Scrub colors are flexible; provided for L&D and OR duties.
