Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Career Strategies is actively hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for immediate openings throughout the Minneapolis metro area. If you have experience in apartment maintenance and enjoy providing quality service to residents while keeping communities operating at their best, we'd like to hear from you.
Career Strategies has specialized in property management staffing for over 35 years and partners with some of the area's top apartment communities.
Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
- Complete preventive maintenance and property inspections
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs safely
- Maintain the appearance of common areas and grounds as needed
- Work closely with the property management team to provide excellent resident service
- Participate in an on-call rotation if required by the property
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and general maintenance
- EPA Certification preferred
- HVAC experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required
