Job Summary: Prepares, distributes and controls sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and instrumentation. Assists the patient care team to provide and maintain customer service focus essential for smooth operations.

Work Experience

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education & Training: High school diploma, with certification as Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST).

Work Orientation & Experience: Previous experience in a Central Sterile Supply Technician position preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Must be self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision, and will accept responsibility to assist in on-the-job training of new team members. Ability to:

• effectively convey verbal and written information;
• follow directions;
• respond to emergency situations appropriately;
• adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the hospital, including all shifts;
• effectively function as a member of a collaborative team;
• organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities; and
• comply with The Joint Commission and OSHA standards
• be self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision
• assist in on-the-job training of new team members.

Benefits

Full-Time Evening (7:30pm-11:30pm)

Pay Range: $20.47 - $28.64/hr. (depends on years of experience)

Other Compensation (if applicable): Shift Differential
