As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. DayTime Fri 12:30 AM - 06:30 AM Sat 06:30 PM - 06:30 AM Sun 06:30 PM - 04:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Perform armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with access control procedures and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
