About the Role

As a Business Execution Senior Consultant , you will drive enterprise-wide Software Asset Management (SAM) and Software License Compliance (SLC) initiatives. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with vendor agreements, improving software data integrity, and enabling cost optimization at scale.

You will work on complex, high-impact initiatives, applying analytical rigor and cross-functional collaboration to support compliance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do

License Compliance & Analysis

• Perform software license compliance assessments and apply licensing models to determine risk and exposure
• Execute license reconciliations for key vendors
• Identify over-deployment and under-utilization and drive remediation actions

Contract & Licensing Expertise

• Interpret software contracts, licensing terms, and entitlements
• Translate licensing rules into actionable operational guidance
• Track contract deliverables (renewals, certifications, maintenance terms)

Data Analysis & Asset Management

• Analyze and maintain software asset data across systems
• Troubleshoot data quality issues across inventory, discovery, and entitlement sources
• Support software catalog accuracy and lifecycle management

Tools & Operations

• Leverage tools such as ServiceNow and workflow platforms to manage SAM processes
• Execute reconciliation workflows and compliance tracking activities
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and records

Audit & Risk Management

• Support internal and external software audits
• Prepare documentation and validate compliance positions
• Ensure readiness for vendor audits and certifications

Optimization & Cost Management

• Identify opportunities to optimize licensing and reduce costs
• Analyze usage trends and recommend efficiencies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Technology
  • Business execution
  • Strategic planning or implementation
• Experience with:
  • Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or license compliance
  • Software licensing models and compliance frameworks
  • Contract analysis and interpretation
  • Data analysis and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing medium-scale technology initiatives within a large organization
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Certification such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
• Hands-on experience with SAM or License Management programs
• Familiarity with AI tools such as:
  • Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio
  • Claude
  • Gemini
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar workflow platforms
