NOW HIRING: VM ENGINEER FEDERAL GOVERNMENT Client: U.S. House of Representatives Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer Location: Washington, DC Work Model: Onsite / Hybrid based on project requirements Employment: W2 / C2C / 1099 Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens Only Security Clearance: Must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearance Must-have Skills Architecting fault-tolerant systems with multi-region redundancy and defined failover strategies Threat modeling, data encryption, identity management, RBAC and MFA Infrastructure as Code using Ansible or similar tools In-depth knowledge of VMware Aria Operations Suite 9 VMware Cloud Foundation VCF VMware Aria Operations Network switching and firewall management for virtual infrastructures Complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis Service uptime, performance optimization, automation and operational improvements General Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ additional years in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IT or related field In-depth knowledge of network switching and firewall management Experience working with technical teams, vendors and resellers Experience identifying and reporting vulnerability and risk states Experience developing quality-control checks and operational metrics for service uptime Strong collaboration with Enterprise Operations, Cybersecurity, Networking, Cloud and Technology Support teams Sme Experience Kubernetes Server Hosting Virtual Networking Network and Application Security Scripting / Programming Senior Engineer Technology Requirements Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with at least 3 of the following: VMware / Broadcom Products including vCenter and vSphere VMware / Omnissa Products including Workspace ONE and Horizon VDI Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux Server Operating Systems Dell and/or HPE Blade/Rack Server Hardware Kubernetes Container Infrastructure including Tanzu, OpenShift, Docker or similar #J-18808-Ljbffr
