Shooter Producer

This is a Contracted position in the field of Episodic Television / Reality Series Production , located in Los Angeles, CA . The position pays $2,500.00 — $4,500.00 per week . You are great at story. You understand formatting, structure, and what makes an episode work. You run camera. You pull audio. You direct. You interview — and you're good at it. But the key is this: you are efficient in narrative, structure, and filming so that when our editors get your footage, they can crush it and get through episodes in two weeks. You come back from every shoot with a story, not just footage. WHAT YOU'LL DO – Lead field production across all three series — embedded, purposeful, and fast – Run camera and audio as primary or sole shooter – Conduct on-camera interviews — build trust with subjects quickly and pull the real story out – Pre-produce shoots with clear narrative intent: know the scenes, the arc, the moments to hunt – Be efficient in structure and filming so editors can move at full speed – Direct talent, subjects, and crew in the field – File selects, notes, and field logs that enable seamless handoff to post – Operate in a Vice News-style embedded workflow across all three shows Experience WHAT YOU BRING – Great at story — formatting, structure, episode-level thinking – Strong camera operator with professional field production experience – Proven experience directing and producing character-driven unscripted or documentary content – Excellent interviewer — can build rapport fast and go deep – Shoots and films with editorial efficiency in mind — editors can crush it because of how you work – Proficient in professional camera systems and audio capture – Comfortable working alone or with minimal crew in unpredictable environments – Bonus: can step into an edit bay and rough-cut their own material #J-18808-Ljbffr
