Communications Coordinator

Communications Strategy & Execution Assist the Director of Communications in executing integrated communications plans that support:Government affairs and advocacy prioritiesExternal relations and stakeholder engagementPA Chamber events and programmingPCI Insurance communications Identify and implement opportunities to amplify PA Chamber messaging through earned, owned, and social media channels Content Development & Writing Draft, edit, and produce a wide range of communications materials, including but not limited to:Press releases and media advisoriesOpinion editorials and columnsExecutive remarks and talking pointsNewsletters (including Sentinel and other member communications)Blog content and website copySocial media postsMarketing and event promotional materialsVideo scripts and storytelling content Ensuring all content reflects the PA Chambers voice, brand, and policy priorities Multimedia Production (Photo & Video) Lead or support photography and videography efforts, including:Content capture at events and key activitiesEditing, production, and final delivery of digital content Assist in managing and growing video content initiatives (e.g., PA Chamber Productions) Media Relations Support Assist with media engagement efforts, including:Drafting press materials and responsesCoordinating interviews and media requestsMonitoring media coverage and compiling news clips Serve as a backup point of contact for press inquiries as needed Events & Government Affairs Support Support planning and execution of PA Chamber events, including:Developing scripts, run-of-show materials, and promotional contentAssisting with event logistics, on-site support, and post-event communications Provide communications support for government affairs initiatives, including advocacy campaigns and legislative priorities Represents the Chamber and President at various functions. Attends Chamber staff meetings and other company events as required. All other related tasks as deemed appropriate by management.
