Job Title: Salesforce Platform Developer

Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews for Salesforce development teams.
• Translate business requirements into robust, secure, and scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Develop custom applications, workflows, triggers, batch classes, and integrations.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.
• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
• Support multiple Salesforce environments including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize performance, and resolve integration challenges.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical design sessions, release management, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with QA teams during testing and support production releases.
• Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and development standards.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, governor limits, and platform architecture.
• Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
• Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party systems.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and version control.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
• Experience supporting multi-org Salesforce environments.
• Knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce DX and DevOps tools.
• Public sector or government project experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Certification Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification (Mandatory)
