Master Automotive Technician / MechanicWe are looking for a master technician who is energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technician we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guestContinuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesComplete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspectionsWork as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectivelyFollow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizationWork closely with the service department and effectively communicate concernsWork together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished resultsQualifications:Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers8+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanicCapable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehiclesStrong experience with both domestic and import vehiclesHave the drive and the ability to flag 40-50+ hours per weekKnowledgeable with reflashing/reprogramming process, all vehicle systemsDemonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in the areas of driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems, domestic and importDiesel Experience helpful but not requiredAptitude for learning additional skills and processesProfessional appearance and strong communicationA desire for long-term career developmentMust possess a valid Texas driver's licenseMust have current ASE certifications including L1.Physical Requirements:Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computer
