Full-Time Assistant Manager

Cinemark is seeking Assistant Managers to help operate their theatres, ensuring policies and standards are met while providing training and support to team members.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and preferably have a high school diploma or G.E.D., along with three basic courses completed in Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program.

The role requires flexibility in working hours, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to handle cash accurately, with a focus on teamwork and conflict resolution.

Assistant Managers can advance to Senior Assistant Manager and beyond after completing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.

The position offers a salary of $45,000 per year, with various benefits including 401(k) matching, health benefits, and free movies.

Responsibilities include following the direction of the General Manager, supporting General Manager's decisions in communication with the staff, working in all departments and all theatre job functions, training and coaching team members, assisting in the preparation of administrative and special reports, observing and participating in the inspection of the theatre building, and ensuring that theatre team members follow the dress code.

Requirements include being at least 18 years of age, having a high school or G.E.D. graduate, completing three basic courses within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program, completing basic food handling training, availability to work flexible hours, and having an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.

Physical and environmental requirements include frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent standing, walking and reaching around the theater, and being able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
