Practice Manager

Job Description The Practice Manager provides effective leadership and creates a culture of accountability for ambulatory care operations, ensuring excellence in patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance of care, patient experience, equity, patient access, financial stewardship including budget management, caregiver engagement, and growth. The Practice Manager makes employment decisions including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching and corrective action. This role supports ancillary services such as human resources and information systems. Complexity Of Scope – Primary Determinant Responsible for collaborating with 5–13 physicians/APPs and 12–30 caregivers, overseeing 1–4 clinics. May manage multiple specialties across a market, requiring travel. May have up to 3 direct leader reports. Minimum Qualifications Leadership experience and ability to inspire and motivate others to create a culture of accountability and teamwork. Ability to develop vision for the practice and execute plans to achieve this vision. Experience working in a matrixed organization and ability to influence non‑direct reports to meet department goals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience directing, supervising, and coaching front‑office staff. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and advanced applications (e.g., database, presentations). Problem‑solving skills to address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients. Experience managing a department budget. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Location Intermountain Medical Center, Murray, Utah. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 hours.
