More about our team Our Acute Care Unit is a 31‑bed inpatient unit specializing in adult acute care & oncology overflow. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. This dynamic environment is a great place to start for RNs looking to develop critical care skills and offers nurses the opportunity to strengthen their clinical expertise while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care. How you'll contribute Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current Alabama or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Basic Life Support required. ACLS, required within 6 months of hire. Experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
