Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while reporting security-related concerns and collaborating with site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess baton certification, preferred.
• Possess handcuffing certification, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
