Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Reno, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
