Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accountant located in Redmond, WA. The accountant will perform general accounting functions; oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and Payroll; embody professionalism, ethical standards, and excellent internal and external customer service; research and resolve issues in a productive manner and complete special projects as required. Lead the month-end close and other periodic financial processes, including reports and analytics, to ensure total accuracy and meaningful communication across functions. Qualifications Compare and evaluate possible courses of decisions by use of discretion and independent judgment; make recommendations for decisions after various possibilities have been considered Account analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts; fixed asset administration Job Costing and WIP Analysis Journal Entries and month-end close processes Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration Accounts Receivable managing and processing – serve as a backup for invoice processing and submittal Accounts Payable managing and processing – serve as a backup for vendor invoicing, tracks credit card charges, reconciles statements and manages 1099 process Cash Receipts and Bank Reconciliations Property, sales and use tax returns - compiling Prepares and/or updates spreadsheets; prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports Form creation, modification and ownership Administration support duties as assigned Performs other responsibilities as assigned Education And Experience AA or BA degree in accounting with a minimum of three years of GL experience; job cost experience is a plus Knowledge Deep knowledge of GAAP Skills Excellent computer skills to include Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; Advanced Accounting software experience a plus. Comfortable with math and calculations. Excellent verbal and written communication. Demonstrate high attention to detail and effective organization. Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Abilities Identify opportunities to productively contribute or participate in completing needed tasks. Adapt and adjust to changing priorities and changing sense of urgency. Physical And Mental Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to multi-task and independently manage competing priorities under pressure. Ability to stay effective and productive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
