Position Summary:Diversified Manufacturing is looking for a competent CNC Operator/Machinist to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of machining functions. The CNC Operator Machinist position is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating a variety of manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality, safety standards; and maintaining equipment.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare and operate manual and CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, grinding, milling etc.Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.Maintain specifications by observing machining operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.Requirements/ Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:Proven experience as CNC Operator/Machinist.Skill in operating manual and CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.Good communication abilities.High school diploma or equivalent.What We Offer:We offer a quality and customer-focused environment with the opportunity to make a difference and work with all levels of employees.
