Delivery Driver

Job Description Job Description The Bradley Group is currently seeking reliable and professional Delivery Drivers for a local client in the Salisbury area. We have both CDL and Non-CDL positions available. This role involves operating a Moffett truck (truck-mounted forklift) and is ideal for candidates who enjoy being on the road, working independently, and providing excellent customer service.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Note: Start times may vary depending on route schedules (early departures possible).
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify paperwork for daily delivery routes
Load your own truck and organize materials based on delivery stops
Safely transport and deliver materials to customers
Operate a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) for loading and unloading materials
Provide friendly and professional customer interactions at each stop
Complete delivery paperwork with receiving personnel
Follow all traffic laws and weight regulations
Assist customers with unloading materials as needed
Maintain a clean and organized truck
Refuel vehicle as needed and submit receipts
Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Logistics Manager
Secure loads using straps and tension bars
Requirements & Qualifications:
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License required (CDL required for CDL role)
Current DOT physical and medical card (for applicable drivers)
Experience operating a Moffett or forklift preferred
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly
Ability to stack and organize loads based on delivery routes
Ability to secure loads up to 10–13 feet high using cargo straps
Ability to climb, reach, and safely maneuver in and around trucks
Experience using ELD log devices (preferred)
Ability to drive for extended periods (8–10 hour shifts)
