As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will document observations using a computer or tablet as needed while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, roadways, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazardous conditions, and policy violations through required reporting channels.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of designated areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
